Bilingual Safety Consultant

Degree: Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

Years of Experience: 2+ years minimum

Compensation: To $60,000-$67,000 plus car mileage reimbursement  

Location: South Los Angeles, California area (local candidates only please)

Industry: Consulting

Must have at least 2+ years of safety experience (ideally within consulting or loss control, however, open to all industries) and bilingual (English/Spanish).  Responsible for supporting customer safety needs in the Los Angeles area with travel daily to clients (light industrial, construction, hospitality, hospitals, golf courses, agriculture, etc.).  Establish, implement and maintain a variety of safety and health programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees.

*Must possess a high level of technical expertise, well rounded, demonstrate leadership skills and communicate effectively up and down organizational structure.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

Ensure that federal, state and local laws, regulations and rules are observed at the local branches and client locations.

Manage Cal-OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

Develop controls for identified hazards, coordinate the implementation of controls from result of hazard analysis.
