Long Beach ASSP Awards and Honors Gala

The Annual Awards and Honors Gala for the Long Beach Chapter of the ASSP will be a very special evening dedicated to recognizing excellence in our profession. Awards will be presented throughout the evening culminating in the award of the Chapter’s highest award, The Founders’ Award. Awards will include: The Founders’ Award; The Tom Butler Award for Excellence in Safety; The Safety Professional of the Year (SPY), and several ASSP Achievement Awards. The Chapter will pay for 50% of all costs for members and their guests (savings is reflected in registration cost). Awardees will be notified in advance, and the evening is complimentary for them and their family members who wish to attend. A cash bar will be available. Dress for the event is semi-formal.

All members and a “Plus One” are invited. Awardees are invited to bring their families and up to two colleagues (colleagues must register and pay).

This special event will be held at the fabulous La Traviata Italian Restaurant, located at 301 Cedar Avenue in Long Beach.

The menu for the evening is mixed Greens, Balsamic Vinaigrette, feta cheese, carrots, and cranberrie

Choice of one Entree

  • Chicken Picatta– In a lemon butter caper sauce, potato puree and seasonal vegetables
  • Pan Roasted Salmon– In a champagne basil sauce, potato puree and seasonal vegetables
  • New York Steak– with potato puree and seasonal vegetables
  • Penne Pomodoro (V)– Pasta in a tomato sauce, with vegetables

Dessert will be Tiramisu –  Layers of espresso drenched lady fingers separated by mascarpone cream and dusted with cocoa powder.
